It all started with a dream, a vision in the night
Came to me as my father’s spirit took to flight
Flowing words like waterfalls tumbled through my pen
When I thought it was done that river flowed again

The to need sing was strong, to share and to heal
And so I set off to learn, set fingers to the steel
Bought my first guitar, learned to make it ring
Hours disappeared as my heart began to sing
